Make the season part of the plan
The official Cyprus tourism website describes long, dry summers and mild winters. These seasonal patterns are a starting point, rather than a forecast for your date. Discuss shade, seating and drinking water with the venue, and check the weather forecast closer to the event.
Visit at the intended time of day
Ask to see how the space feels at roughly the time of your ceremony, meal or gathering. Consider the direction of the light, the path guests take from the entrance and whether people can move comfortably between shade and the main event area.
Agree a real alternative
Identify a usable indoor or sheltered option and confirm its capacity, appearance, setup time and any additional cost. Decide who makes a weather-related change, when that decision is made and how guests and suppliers will be told. An alternative should be planned before it is needed.
Check the working details
Ask about vehicle access, step-free routes, toilets, electricity, lighting after dark and where suppliers can unload. Confirm sound rules, closing time and any permissions with the venue or responsible authority. Avoid assuming that a beautiful public setting can host a private setup.
Plan for your guests’ comfort
Keep the schedule understandable and allow time for guests to arrive, move and settle. Share practical information about footwear, access and transport. Ask who will oversee setup and removal, and how the space will be left after the event.
